10,000 Reasons

Matt Redman returns with his new album 10,000 Reasons. As the writer of many of the most-sung worship songs including ‘Blessed Be the Name’, ‘The Heart of Worship’, ‘You Never Let Go’, and ‘Better is One Day’, Matt’s songs are sung by millions of people every Sunday.

Matt has a unique ability to craft songs that teach deeply spiritual truths and remind us God’s steadfastness. His new album 10,000 Reasons features 11 all-new songs and was recorded live with 1,000 worship leaders earlier this year.

The first single ‘Never Once’ speaks of God’s faithfulness in our lives as he is always with us, and never abandons us.

Matt has been involved in leading at the Passion Conferences for years, most recently at Passion Atlanta with over 22,000 students. Along with Louie Giglio, Chris Tomlin, Christy Nockels and Kristian Stanfill, Matt was one of the founding leaders of Passion City Church in Atlanta, Georgia.

Review Five Star Live Album 08 October 2011 Rating: Posted by: Tim Pullan Personally, I prefer live Christian music to studio albums, there is something added by the collective worship for me. This is a great album, it starts with a bang with "We are the free", reminding us to revel in our freedom in Christ. "Here for You" follows which is a thoughtful, yet punchy track that would be a good way to open any worship. The title track is well accompanied by the audience and there is a genuine connection made, with spontaneous bursts of applause and cheers. "Never Once" has a similar vein to "You Never Let Go" and is none the worse for it while "We Could change The World" is a rocky challenge to us all. A great album, containing a varied selection of good songs that are uplifting, catchy and message-laden in equal amounts!
